Rachel Ng, M.S.Sc., C.C.C.
Canadian Certified Counsellor #10008225
Are you feeling burnt out or simply not like yourself lately? Maybe you’re juggling too many responsibilities, navigating big life changes, or feeling the weight of relationships and expectations. If you’re struggling to find clarity, Rachel Ng is here to help you reconnect with your calm, truth and your authentic self.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Rachel brings a compassionate and grounded presence to her work as a therapist. She is a multilingual counsellor (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin) who draws from her background in clinical psychology, organizational coaching, and hot yoga teacher training. Her holistic approach weaves together mind and body awareness to support clients in creating sustainable change from the inside out.
Rachel’s therapy style is trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and gender-affirming. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate burnout, grief, identity transitions, and intergenerational trauma with curiosity and compassion. Clients describe her as warm, validating, and deeply attuned — someone who helps them feel safe enough to explore life’s hardest moments and strong enough to move forward with clarity.
Rachel has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) validation strategies, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. She integrates these evidence-based approaches to meet each client where they are and guide them toward growth, resilience, and regulation.

I am double certified as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I obtained my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria where I also received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. My areas of expertise include: relationships, anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I enjoy working with clients helping them overcome anxiety, depression, and working through their history. Often adverse childhood events or family dynamics shape how we see ourselves as adults and how we function as partners, parents and friends. I help my clients learn to relate to themselves in a more healthy way and as a result they are able to relate better to their loved ones and experience more joy.
The therapeutic journey is different for each individual. Sometimes that means exploring your past, other times that means working on concrete skills to change habits in the here and now, or looking to the future and planning out a different path for yourself. It is my job to walk alongside you on your own personal journey towards wellness, healing, and purpose.
I am double certified as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Canadian Certified Counsell...

With over 15 years of experience supporting people through life’s most emotional seasons, I specialize in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I work with individuals who often feel things deeply -
or struggle to feel much at all. Whether emotions feel too intense, too reactive, or too far away, my work focuses on helping you find balance, connection, and a path toward building a life worth living.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship challenges, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, burnout, and major life transitions. Together, we blend meaningful self-understanding with practical, evidence-based tools to support real and lasting change.
As a mother of two energetic little girls, I understand the emotional terrain of parenting - from the exhaustion and identity shifts of early parenthood to the invisible mental load of caring for others while trying to stay connected to yourself. I offer a warm, validating space for parents to explore emotional fatigue, guilt, and overwhelm while learning to meet their own needs with compassion.
I also bring lived experience navigating complex medical and mental health systems and understand how confusing and isolating that journey can be. My goal is to help you feel supported, capable, and seen - not just surviving, but moving toward a life that feels more grounded, balanced, and aligned with your values.
